5'8 Male, live in NYC. Bike just got stolen. Not sure what size it was but it had 700c road tires.
Looking to get a cheap replacement for commuting. Are these good?

What should I be looking for? What size is right for me? Thanks

These are functionally wal-mart “Bike Shaped Objects”. One piece cranks, no-name bottom tier components. Allegedly they’re the warehouse/discount brand of Kent – but still not amazing
I’m not trying to be elitist, rather just trying to get the point across that these bikes will unlikely to last more than about year of regular commuting in fair weather, only 6 months if you ride through the winter.
If you can’t stretch your budget up to about 6-800 (plus 50-60 for a heavy as shit chain lock so it doesn’t get stolen again) – see if you can find a local bike shop in NYC that advertises selling used bikes. You’re unlikely to get something new that is good quality in the 2-300 range, but bikes depreciate fast so that much on a used bike can get you something good.
I’m starting to think mendham is doing a push on this sub. This is the second post in as many days I am seeing for this bike company.
Reviews are heavily mixed from that company. I’d suggest looking at Facebook marketplace or Craigslist.
