Something is slipping when I pedal forward with or without assistance. Can't tell if it's freewheel or the internals of the nuvinci that's slipping.
Markings on the hub say "Nuvinci Optimized" it shows the serial number too if that would help, lmk
This is a 2020 e-cargo bike with stock nuvinci and Bosch motor. It's been shifting and working normally for years, suddenly this morning when I went to ride it home after a short stop, it was making a crunching sound. I looked it over. It's been making a crunching sound and I could barely ride it home as it started slipping more and more. Don't know how I'm going to ride to a bike shop like this but I have works on internal 3-speeds before and ebikes. Help please. Can post more info later

Well wake it up then!
It’s toast. Walk it to the LBS
The only thing you can do that *might* save it is run through the sequence to check and correct the cable tension.
I’m trying to think how one actually detonate a freewheel …
The springs inside the freehub body are gummed up and sticking, and/or possibly worn. The replacement is around 50€ without labor from the lbs.
