Hi! I’m trying to figure out the exact model of my Santa Cruz bike so I can buy the correct suspension for it. It has 26” wheels. I’ve attached photos in case someone recognizes the frame or knows the year/model. Thanks in advance!
Blur 2006 or 2007 had the Ti upper links. I think 2008 went to a single carbon upper link.
… but what do you mean, “buy the correct suspension for it”? Unless there is sentimental value, or some other reason for this bike to be the one, it is not likely worth putting that much money into.
This is especially true if you are using it in a manner that would necessitate better suspension. That stem alone brings back scary memories.
Shock stroke lengths are all metric now, and forks use a tapered steerer tube, so finding new suspension will be a challenge. If you are set on using this bike, get a quote on rebuilding the suspension, it may be palatable.
