If you missed my last post,I was experiencing a strange issue with my trainer, where my dropouts would not tighten down unless I had a spacer on there that seemed to stretch my frame a little in a way that I wasn’t comfortable with.

My plan was to just print my own thinner spacers from rigid material.

20min of printing later and I had 3 different size spacers I could try. Landed on 2.5mm, barely has to open up at all to fit. Tightens down perfectly, no compression at all.

PC-CF, 100% infill.

I would still like to know what’s wrong with either my bike or the trainer if anyone knows, and if it would have been OK to run with the metal thick spacer, but I’m happy I was able to solve my own issue. I predict that it’s probably just that my dropouts are unusually thin? Not sure. Thanks for looking!
