  1. Jump. You jumped wrong. You just hit that kicker and gave zero input. And then landed with no absorption, which bucked you. Lucky you didn’t crash.

    I don’t know about wrong, at the end of the day you didn’t fall out anything, but that landing might have been a bit more comfortable if you focused on putting your weight in your legs and absorbing the bumps with your legs. Heavy feet light hands has been a game changer for me while I’m learning. MU shoulders aren’t strong enough to take basically any drama at all.

  3. You pulled with your arms instead of pushing with your feet, so now your bars are way up by your neck instead of to your hips, and you land in a weak position 

  4. Came into it with very little compression. Totally extended in the legs before the front wheel reached the lip. Yanked on the bars. Displayed no air control.
    Focus on timing at the lip. Practice moving the bike in the air.
