A 7-day adventure through the middle of France—packed with architecture, historical, and beautiful countryside.
🌇 Day 1 – Tours
Begin in Tours, once home to Saint Martin and a key stop in the Loire. Explore its old quarter and grab dinner in Place Plumereau.
🌇 Day 2 – Saumur & Château de Blois
Head west to Saumur, known for cavalry schools and troglodyte cellars. Then to Chateau de Blois, where French kings once lived and plotted!

🌇 Day 3 – Loches & Poitiers
Morning in Loches, where Joan of Arc met Charles VII. Afternoon in Poitiers, once the seat of Eleanor of Aquitaine and Richard the Lionheart.

🌇 Day 4 – Limoges & Millevaches
Visit Limoges, famous for porcelain and resistance history in WWII. Then drive to the Millevaches plateau for peaceful walks and lovely views

🌇 Day 5 – Clermont-Ferrand
Explore Clermont-Ferrand, birthplace of philosopher Blaise Pascal and capital of the Auvergne. Don’t miss the black volcanic cathedral.

🌇 Day 6 – Vichy & La Souterraine
Morning in Vichy, known for its Belle Époque architecture and controversial WWII role. Then up to La Souterraine, a fortified medieval stop on the Camino route.

🌇 Day 7 – Châteauroux & Bourges
Pause in Châteauroux, linked to Napoleon’s family, then on to Bourges for its impressive Gothic cathedral and preserved timbered streets.
