My custom frame bag from Camel Chops came in. The 1/8” black shock cord to lace it at the top tube is too boring for me. The bag splatter pattern like this. I like the idea of a matching light blue but wondering if paracord or 1/4” bungee is better?

If they supplied shock cord then I would get the same, but I do think people use paracord as well
I’ve used both, no real difference. If I had to choose, I’d say I prefer shock cord.
