I commute about 40 km a day, six days a week, and do a big workout session on the weekends. Most of my riding is on city roads, but the conditions aren’t great, and the number of speed bumps is honestly insane. I wear padded shorts, but even that is starting to feel like it’s not enough. Is there anything else I can do to improve comfort?

I tried redshift on a friend bike and for commuting in your condition I think it’s absolutely the way to go!
If you want more comfort you can ad the redshift stem
I’ve tried both, highly recommend the redshift. It’s next level good. I haven’t tried some of the cheaper knock offs, they might be ok. But no concerns with my redshift. It’s definitely more of a firm suspension, so if you’re lighter you might not find it moving much, even with the lightest setting
