Check your VO2Max here: http://www.yogabody.com/vo2max
VO2 max is the maximum volume of oxygen you can utilize and a higher capacity correlates with both healthspan and longevity. Think of VO2 max as an objective “health check” to see how often you exercise.
The most accurate way to calculate this is by hooking yourself up to a mask and heart rate monitor while running on a treadmill.
Unfortunately, we all don’t have access to this. So instead try the Cooper Test where you record the total number of miles or kilometers that you can run or walk on a flat surface in 12 minutes, then put all your details in the calculator below.
no one can predict exactly how long you’ll live but the best metric we have right now for longevity and health span is something called V2 Max it measures your cardiorespiratory Fitness in an Ideal World we’d all go in a lab put a mask on our face run on a treadmill while a scientist records all of our data and gives us our exact number in the real world that’s probably not going to happen so instead take the Cooper test the test was developed in 1968 to be used with the military and it’s surprisingly accurate do a 10-minute warm-up hit a timer for 12 minutes and see how far you can go using the calculator down below enter your age and how far you ran and it’ll give you a number this test has its obvious flaws but it’s surprisingly accurate and you’ll see yourself improving over time the more you exercise if you do the test post your number down below I’d love to hear from you
