Hi everyone!
Im quite new to bmx but not to bikes. I ride mountainbikes most of the time and decided to get a bmx to practice more fundamentals like manuals and hops. I got this Haro for 50 euro with of course a few issues like both wheels having one spoke broken and headset and rear bearings needing replacement.
So far im having lots of fun with trying to manual and trying to hop. Although quite scary since the bike is very twitchy and have to get used to having no suspension. Also the pedals are not wham im used to. Is it a good idea to get pedals with metal pins in them, since I constantly slip off?

If you like metal pedals then get some 🙂
Dont get metal pedals, your shins will thank you. But you should get some new ones, those ones are pretty old and kinda small
Pick up some Tioga Surefoot pedals. Loose ball bearings with composite cages and I never slip off them. They’re under 30 bucks as well.
