Everything works perfectly — newly refurbished and ready to ride.
A retro classic with 12 gears:
• Beautiful steel frame
• Lugs
• Leather saddle
• Aluminum seat post, handlebar & stem
• Like-new aluminum crankset
• Like-new dual pivot brakes
• Suntour drivetrain
• Downtube shifters
• Maillard/Rigida aluminum wheelset
• Schwalbe tires
• Brake levers with new hoods
• New handlebar tape
The bike has been fully refurbished and rebuilt using classic, period-correct used components.
For the brakes, brand-new, more modern dual-pivot brakes with improved stopping power were installed.
Additionally, a brand-new aluminum crankset was fitted because the old one was scratched.

As ever, if it’s the bike you want / need then it’s a very fair price. But it’s going to ride like a retro bike and the geometry, weight, skinny tyres and frame shifters are all big compromises if you’re used to modern bikes. I love the look but wouldn’t ride one.
What are you planning on using it for? It’s an OLD bike, but looks nice and in good condition. $200 is definitely the absolute maximum I’d stretch for this, if all works perfectly and it’s the right kind of bike.
Assuming you’re okay riding with DT shifters?
