    Non-sarcastically, no way I would trust that stem due to the crack. You can get a replacement quill stem for not a whole lot of money. If the replacement cost $1,000 maybe I might roll with that for a while, but if I can get a replacement stem for $20, I’m not riding with a stem that has a crack in it.

  2. Doesn’t look like a crack to me, but still pretty weird damage, I’d also just try to find another stem for peace of mind.
