  1. lol that’s a write off. If you think the rest of the parts are worth the cost might be good to move to another frame but that frame is dead it’s been crushed or something.

  2. Its fucked. This bike is only worth buying if you plan to remove the parts for use on another bike.

An easy fix?! Bruh, that frame is scrap metal. How you do think you’re gonna fix it?

Nope, that’s fine, buy it and go on a fully loaded tour.

Seriously, there are so many bikes out there, no need to even mess around with frame damage, potential or otherwise.

  5. Easy fix??? That frame is unfixable and unsafe and belongs in the rubbish. It is worth only the parts you can take off it.

It has taken a crash straight on, and the cracks likely are as deep as the tubing or welds in that area. The huge dent in the downtube will have changed the geometry of the frame, it may not even be straight anymore.

    Frame destroyed beyond repair.

  6. This frame has structural damage, riding it can cause you serious harm. Only buy to replace frame completely

  7. Metal putty (you mean Bondo or JB Weld or something right?) is a cosmetic fix to smooth out dents in non-structural parts. That does nothing to fix a buckled down tube on a bicycle, which is the main structural beam holding you off the ground. If you ride this bike and hit a significant bump it is likely to collapse beneath you and put your face into the pavement. The first pic may well be paint cracks, but the paint cracked because the metal underneath has been displaced. That frame is scrap and unsafe to ride.

  8. I would not purchase this.

Looks like the crashed and folded the bike.

That’s what you see on the surface, cant imagine it’s safe to ride.

If you can get it REALLY cheap for parts, that’s about it.

  9. Honestly, you should buy it and scrap it to keep the seller from passing it on to someone who will ride it and get themselves killed.
