But what’s really interesting about this prequel show is that it’ll explore the flashbacks and history about Penny Wise that Mike researched in Hit Chapter 2. Specifically exploring the true origin of it. But fans are pointing out that this kid looks exactly like Pennywise, which suggests that maybe the first ever form that it took was as a human kid. Because remember, it is a shape-shifting cosmic being that landed in Derry millions of years ago. He only took up the form as Penny Wise the dancing clown as he learned that that’s what kids typically fear. But maybe before that it took the form of this human kid to live in dairy.

Actually there were earlier forms of IT since IT takes on the form of whatever you fear the most with the base form as Pennywise to lure in the children. So IT’s first form in 1962 may have been the kid, but it’s not the first form it took on when it landed on earth.
