The prequel to it, Welcome to Dairy, might be showing us the origin of Pennywise that nobody expected and not enough people were talking about it. Now, see, the upcoming series Welcome to Derry takes place 27 years before the events of It Chapter 1. And Stephen King fans know that 27 years is a specific number, as it or Penny Wise only awakens every 27 years to feed on children before going back to hibernation. But what’s really interesting about this prequel show is that it’ll explore the flashbacks and history about Penny Wise that Mike researched in Hit Chapter 2. Specifically exploring the true origin of it. But fans are pointing out that this kid looks exactly like Pennywise, which suggests that maybe the first ever form that it took was as a human kid. Because remember, it is a shape-shifting cosmic being that landed in Derry millions of years ago. He only took up the form as Penny Wise the dancing clown as he learned that that’s what kids typically fear. But maybe before that it took the form of this human kid to live in dairy.

  1. You’re wrong. Pennywise didn’t take the form of a clown because that’s what kids fear, it took that form because clowns are liked by kids (at least, they used to be). So, it could get them to lower their defenses and come close enough to be snatched.

  2. Actually there were earlier forms of IT since IT takes on the form of whatever you fear the most with the base form as Pennywise to lure in the children. So IT’s first form in 1962 may have been the kid, but it’s not the first form it took on when it landed on earth.

  3. No. In the book it arrived during dinosaurs and turned into a man with first contact with people. This is not a mystery. Also why are you yelling?

  4. That isn't the original because Pennywise was born in the macroverse and was in earth before the humans he feeds on fear , his deadlight form can earse ur soul

  5. How could the first shape IT took be a human kid in the 1940's if IT been under Derry for thousands possibly millions of years?

They even explicitly say that IT took multiple forms to terrorise and consume the Natives in that area.

  6. Hey, remember that scene in the first movie where they shown hand-drawn pictures of old colonial America and Pennywise in the background? Lol so much for the origins of Pennywise for this video.
