A bent axle will accelerate bearing wear, I recommend you straighten the axle or purchase a new one. The trick to straightening an axle is to bend it back while rotating it to check for progress. I straighten axles using a lathe, but you can improvise. You need to remove the axle, and you can roll it on something flat to find the bend direction. Then clamp it into a vise with soft jaws, and hit it with a hammer to bend it back. Wood or aluminum to protect the axle threads from the hammer and the vise. If you don’t have a vice, you can place the axle on the ground spanning two wood blocks, rotate the axle so that the high part is up, and then hit it down with the hammer. Rotate to check, repeat. Bending it back will weaken the axle, but that is a small bend so it will likely not cause a problem but it will still be slightly weaker.
