Do I need to add some washers to move pads further out?

Changed my rotor from 180 to 203mm (Shimano SM-RT66-L), bought corresponding mounting adapter for caliper (SM-MA-F203PP) – all went well, brakes are working but I look at new rotor and I keep feeling like pads must not touch “connecting columns” of a disk structure. Do I need to add washers or is it unnecessary?
