Jeez I don’t know maybe anywhere that sells kryptonite locks? Amazon?

Seems to me the shackle would amount to well over half the cost of the lock so surely the answer is to buy a new one?

Just be glad he didn’t have a ball-point pen

I’d consider this money well spent and invest in a new one. Same idea as if you crashed and your helmet was crunched but your head was ok.
Maybe Kryptonite could replace that part, I just ordered some new keys. Couldn’t hurt to shoot them an email.

Take it to a muffler shop (or friend) and throw a weld over it, then wrap the spot in black tape for the most economical fix

if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. from a bike thief psychology perspective, I feel like that’s even better than one without battle wounds. bike thieves look for easy targets. the damage from the aborted theft attempt clearly communicates that it is not an easy target

kryptonite used to sell parts, not sure if they still do. all things considered, i’d get a new one and keep using this one for things less valuable. it’s not like they got very far.

I doubt it is user replaceable so I’d be surprised if there were any available parts anywhere.
