Just wanted to share my utter joy of making this particular machine of earthly delights out of old parts and a thrown-out frame. Compared to so many other new bikes being added to collections out there every day, there is a strange old magic to spending next to nothing on these inanimate bits and bolts, just throwing in all the rubbing down, re-greasing, wiring of cables and dialing of screws until this vessel for movement, fun, commotion, exploration manifests itself one day after work. Brought back to life for another few decades of mud consumption and havoc wreaking.

It's a Giant Boulder from 1996 – I think. Now riding around the fields outside Copenhagen. Any of its siblings still out there somewhere?

Please share your building endeavors!

Love the build. So clean. I pulled my 930 out of the trash. It is the first non BMX bike I’ve built from the frame up. So much fun building and tweaking the bike.
