  1. This bunch need to get a proper, won't protect children or stop actual crime but they'll happily stop a bunch of kids on scooters that you're allowed to rent in Britain. And as for her saying "Don't push an officer", well don't try and clothes line the lad then luv.

  2. How unaware are some of these comments. You do know most street robberies/knife crime and drug dealing is commited whilst on these things. And besides you lot wouldnt be saying about real crime being dealt with if one of them mowed down your kid in the high street and killed them. Lets hope police arent to busy catching "proper crims" as you say to even turn up. Countries stupidity is unreal

  3. I don't think anyone knows the laws concerning motorised scooters, this just looks like the police are going for easy arrestes, why bother with the hassle of going after real criminals when you can have an easy life and up your arrest stats by harassing the public

  4. Pathetic, everywhere else in the world you can ride them anywhere, this is pathetic, however if you use and have to pay to use the council bikes and scooters that's fine.

  5. Why don’t they just make them legal, by slapping a licence plate, tax and insurance on them? If society is worried about public budget deficits and the illegality of e-scooters, surely this would be an easy win while also helping lower greenhouse gas emissions?

  6. So electric scooters & ebikes in canada follow the same rules as bicycles. Meaning, side of the roads, hand signals for stopping and turning, no riding on the side walks, and follow speed limits. I actually had a friend who was stopped on thier bike about speeding coming down a hill. He didnt get a ticket but the cop reminded him speed limits apply. So what are the rules for ebikes ect? Ebikes here dont need insurance

  7. I’m sorry but I don’t see the difference between e scooters e-bikes and normal bikes. If one is illegal or unsuitable for the road then they all are. In fact e scooters don’t hog the road like bikes do but regardless you can cherry pick the ones you don’t like. You have to be consistent. Me personally I think they should have their own lane or stay on the path.

  8. I don't really understand the difference between riding one of them Vs push bike. One can reach 20mph on push bike, just as easy. Both don't make any noise. What I'm missing?
