  1. The 2nd exit is at 12 o'clock so he should be in the left lane which he was. There is no road signs to who which lane is for which.
The arrow on the show came in much much much later 50m from the round about which is too late.
They should put a sign post showing left lane is only for 1st exit and if you want 2nd exit stay in 2nd lane

  2. It looks more like it was intentionally set for the river to fail. You won't see the road markings until you're almost on it. He probably could have just gone the wrong way (first exit), anyways.

  3. The counsel forced them to take a left turn lane to go straight, but at the last moment. This roundabout is clearly wide enough to use the inside lane to go left or straight ahead.

  4. Road marking was not visible till the end, as someone mention it’s true it’s logic to keep in the left.
    Council fault
Now tell me who is most vulnerable road user cyclist pedestrian or the learner sit with the examiner 😒

  5. And for that simple mistake, you only have to wait probably another 6 months to take your test again, so best make sure in that situation you just left signal and take the first exit they cant fail you for that

  6. The worst part is when signage lies. Showing straight ahead or left all the way up to the roundabout and then suddenly becoming left only at the final marker. I don't understand how they think that's reasonable road design.

  7. I would have just gone left if i see that last min only a minor for taking wrong route. Because they carried on and continued to go its class as a seriouse

  8. I don’t see how this is serious. But yes the driver is in the wrong lane but from the video it doesn’t look like it effects anyone

  9. Yes the painted road arrows are woefully maintained. The same goes for some mounted road sign instructions.
Either faded to the point of unreadable or covered in crud.
Not so bad for locals who know the roads but for non local traffic a possible and preventable hazard.

  10. Harsh, but understandable. Those in the correct lane could potentially collide with this vehicle.

My son has his test in January and he has been practicing roundabouts – his feedback is road markings are inconsistent and quite often poorly marked.
