I’ve never ridden Thickslicks before, so I wanted to give them a try after getting the new wheelset. So far, the only downside is the weight, you can really feel it holding you back when trying to get moving. That said, I’m not too worried about speed, and they handle well and ride comfortably. Would I get another set? Probably not.
