I have this helmet that I purchased in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam last summer. I’ve google translated all tags/stickers but have had no luck in determining a safety rating. I took it to my local bike store and they couldn’t tell me much.

I work in the death industry so safety is SUPER vital for me when biking. I love wearing this helmet but I want to make sure I’m wearing something safe too.

Any help or suggestions on finding more info is greatly appreciated!!

  1. I want to add the word “Napoli” is seen in a few spots and it has this back label which basically tells you to wear it, tighten chin strap, don’t use after an impact etc. and it says it is rated for motorcycle use.

It also says this on the underside of the front visor “Domestic and international consumers can’t mention about Envy without the admiration to traditional and fashionable products. specifically used for the motorcyclists and sports people that this label represents in particular, it must be talked about Envy E-01 which leading product line brings you a fashionable style of sport expressing you confidence and bravery beautiful and well. Coming to E-01 you will become more luxurious, dynamic and youthful in the modern life”

It probably doesn’t have a safety rating, especially if it doesn’t have info like serial number, compliance info, manufacturer, etc. If I were you, I would just buy a MIPS helmet from a reliable brand instead of risking your life. You can get a good one for less than $100, it’s well worth it. From the pictures it looks more like a cheap hard hat/bump helmet so I don’t think it would help all that much in an accident
