Today I cycled through this tunnel. Somewhat isolated in the middle of the forest near the France/Luxembourg border.
I had heard that it is cyclable, but still I felt quite uneasy before entering it. It was a very weird experience. Quite scary, to be honest. The several small entrances on the side gave me some goosebumps.

The tunnel’s length is around 500m. I forgot to mention it.
This reminds me of inglorious bastards
That’s not abandoned. That’s a nicely maintained portion of the trail.
Here we have this: [Iron Horse](https://www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/iron-horse-tunnel)
Part of the [PTCT](https://parks.wa.gov/sites/default/files/2024-08/Palouse%20to%20Cascades%20Trail%20full%20trail%20map_0.pdf), if anyone’s interested.
We have a smaller tunnel that goes under I80 that connects 2 of our parks we use, it’s such a weird sensory experience for the 30 seconds or so you’re in between to the two ends and you can’t see the ground at all.
