I admit I’m mechanically inept. Allowing me near a screwdriver (Philips or flathead), Allen key or any hand tool is a mistake and often means a follow up trip to the local bike shop to rectify my failures.
However, I did manage to replace the suspension block in my C-Line explore this week. This after it’s been sat on my desk glaring at me for 2 months whilst I procrastinated, finding reason after reason not to do it and looking for an excuse to take it down to the bike shop. I’m ashamed to say it took me all of 10 minutes and was the easiest “fix” I’ve ever made.
It hasn’t convinced me that my mechanical skills have improved though.
PS: the new suspension block is superb. The old one was the original one and was worn and getting softer.
