During an episode of the Tucker Carlson Show on Friday, featuring guest Marjorie Taylor Greene, host Tucker Carlson commented on New York mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, saying: “He is the only person in the New York City mayor’s debate to say he wanted to focus on New York City.”

Carlson noted that most other candidates, when asked which foreign country they would visit first, named Israel, while Mamdani said he would remain in New York.

Carlson added that Mamdani “gave the right answer,” before clarifying that he “totally opposes his programme.”

That guy was the only person in the New York City mayor’s debate to say he wanted to focus on New York City. They were all the candidates were asked, “If you could visit a foreign country, what would it be?” And they of course all had an answer. I think most said Israel. Great. And he said I wouldn’t go anywhere. I’d stay in New York and like if I want to meet Jewish constituents, I go to their synagogues, their homes or whatever. But I’d be here in New York because that’s what I’m doing. I’m running New York. That’s my job. Well, he gave the right answer. He gave the right answer. He gave the right answer at least. And he’s talking I totally oppose his program just to be absolutely I don’t think it works but um he’s talking about economics. Yep. And everyone else is talking about foreign policy. Why is it hard to talk about economics? Domestic economics.

  1. NYC's Muslim community (est. 750K, ~9% of pop) showed up BIG for Mamdani, with turnout likely doubling to ~44% among their 380K registered voters (from 22% in 2021). That's a smart, organized bloc flipping the script on low overall turnout (~38%, 2M+ ballots from 5.3M registered). Sure, his 50.4% of votes = ~19% of all NYC voters, but that punchy coalition outmaneuvered the establishment. Non-Muslim voters? Split & sidelined. Lesson: Mobilize or get out-voted. Congrats to the underdogs—democracy's messy math in action

  2. Hope they wake up from their illusion. If greed is holded small, everyone lives better. We must domest the capitalism beast.

  3. He doesn't think Zohran's ideas work. It's only basic ideas our European and Canadian allies have implemented for decades 😂 if they're not schilling for Israel they're schilling for the billionaire class and the elite. Change is coming and I love to see the fear in their eyes.

  4. It was so gross to see the other candidates basically competing to prove they were the most pro-Israel. Wtaf shoukd that matter to an American mayor? AIPAC is ruining our country

  5. Because you all have to admit that you voted for an unqualified, unprepeared, belligerent, felon, self-centred, and you can keep adding person.
Zohran's program is too good to be true in one of the richest cities in the world. But at least he wants to try, and New Yorkers too.
Good luck and make New York Great Again

  6. These bobbleheads continue twisting their rhetoric. They are not the center of Trump's regime anymore and dont have any perspective of right, or wrong. They will always be narcissists without a decent cause.

  7. I must say… Sorry to both of you. Not only because of this video, coz lot of other things you have said and done in your recent past, which shows your compassion towards humanity in general. I misunderstood you both for way too long…

  8. "That guy" has a name. A nobody like this guy and that girl would be easier to say someone's name. If you actually want to respect that person the least thing you could do is mention their name.

  9. Why is it hard to talk about economics is the right question and the very same one people on the right love to duck since it's their primary motive to amassing power

  10. All rich people, or let's say, richer people, oppose his program. Why on earth should poor people then vote for the rich enabler? That makes no sense to me.

  11. is so weird as someone whos lived in multiple countries thats not usa, that americans dont seem to think free busses or universal childcare or healthcare doesnt work. At least zohran sees that it works, when it works literally everywhere else on the globe, so why not in the most wealthy city on the planet?

  12. Tucker and MtG showed poise and restraint in this clip. Randy Fine take some notes on etiquette or if not at least be funny like John Catsimatidis trashing Sliwa
