Hello all, I used to have a kink whip, which I loved, long story short I got out of the sport and sold it. and obtained this bike for $10. It’s an old mongoose 20in.
I would like to still go to the skatepark occasionally, since I am in college don’t wanna spend a lot of money on a new bike when maybe I could make this one more capable.
Anything I can do to this thing that would make it a decent bike? I’m thinking some higher bars and new wheels set and crank set. Not sure what would fit though as I’m sure this is a cheap bike from the beginning. I just Wanna have something to rip around on without fear of snapping in half.

Looks like a Walmart bike meant for a 120lb kid
I am sorry to say, but this is not really worth it..
Modern good quality parts are not easily compatible and the parts on the bike probably wont hold up to medium impacts..
Before you invest in this bike, upgrade to a better starting model.. you will spend more time and money fixing this
