I’ve always been intrigued by mixtes, so when this one was donated to our co-op and I found it a perfect fit, I was all over it. It’s cleaning up beautifully. I’ve found little about the brand beyond Belgian manufacture. The rear cassette was nearly seized, but with a good cleaning and soaking in penetrant, its spinning freely. And despite still looking like a rusted mess, its generous range has me thinking of keeping it. The front rings are 53/40. I may try to source some smaller ones to take further advantage of the cassette’s range. I’m also considering handlebar and seat replacements. I welcome opinions, suggestions and any further information.
