Thinking of getting a hardtail for some singletrack. Seller was asking for $800, but would let it go for $600. Is this a good price? Recently tuned up, but I’ll have to verify that myself.

I dunno, it looks like a bicycle to me. Specialized Rockhopper can be anywhere from $600 to $1,400 brand new, looking at their website.
600 is not a bad deal. New the expert is ~1200. If I found one that new and in my size for 600 I would buy it, I’ve been looking for a cheap HT.
