  1. For beginners like myself with the muscle up this is actually really helpful in understanding the mechanics of the movement. If i can do this in time i can clean it up and use less momentum.

  2. The logic that you are using your muscles for this is laughable! since you are also wearing shoes it should be called a show up according to ya 😂 any who if you are using momentum to pull yourself up then it's not a clean muscle up. Any grown man who calls this a muscle up should start their transition to a women after reading this

  3. I dont understand the hate for this guy, it's just a kipping muscle up crossfit style with good performence.
still requires great techinque to perform and a lot harder than you might think even if you do perform the "proper" calisthenics variation.

  4. Again for muscle up, you need to use serious muscle strength
This is more technique and momentum without much strength
Most can do this in my gym
    Not many the real mu

  5. Facts 💯 it’s still tough, just different. Way less strain per rep but you can crank out way more than strict pulls. Solid way to torch the back, fry the core, or just gas out the whole body at the end of a session.

  6. I think this form would be a great starting point, and once you can do those, you can work on refining your form. Why do you think he did it in slow motion? It’s for beginners Yall, chill out

  7. There are so many ways to do things. Someone in the past did something like muscle-ups, then others did the same thing in different ways. Not every variation is wrong or right — it’s all about getting stronger.
People are always attacking CrossFit as if the way other disciplines do things were the absolute truth. As far as I know, CrossFit doesn’t compete in gymnastics, bodybuilding, or any other sport, so it doesn’t have to follow their rules.
