🇲🇹 Gozo Landmark Ride | Tas-Salvatur (The Redeemer) from the Saddle

After yesterday’s heavy rain, I cycle a quiet concrete path with Tas-Salvatur (Tal-Merżuq) straight ahead — one of Gozo’s most recognisable landmarks 🇲🇹. The hill is crowned by the Risen Christ statue (current version from the 1970s), and wrapped in legend — from “volcano” tales to the ray of light (merżuq) that gave the hill its name. A calm, post-rain ride toward Gozo’s story-filled summit.
