70’s vintage Schwinn that was my wife’s as a teen. After we were married I bought her a new Schwinn with a child seat and I rode it for years.
The cassette went bad and I bought a new one but before I got into it we stumbled on a pair of Schwinns at a flea market and I have been riding the men’s once since. I kept the old one around for years and finally started working on it 2 years ago. I decided to strip it all the way down and repaint it (John Deere yellow, btw) closest thing I could get to match original. Needed some used parts from eBay and nos cables and housings.
