I set out to build a fast utility bike, finding the balance between speed, comfort, and utility and I'm happy to say this bike absolutely nailed it. Turned out to be everything I was hoping for and more.
This is my first new bike ever, and also my first gravel bike. Coming from old $200 trek road bikes everything about this is new to me, literally everything.
I got the new SRAM Rival AXS 1×13 electronic shifting, carbon fork, steel frame, carbon wheels. I ended up putting Renee Herse 38mm almost slick tires on for more speed. I ride road pretty much exclusively and this thing rips. Couldn't be happier.
The geo on this fits like a glove, the bike disappears beneath me.
Swapped in some silver components for a timeless look. Brooks B17 saddle, Simworks pedals and fenders, VO Randoneur handlebars.
Also working with Jeff from Wilde was amazing. He's a super nice, down to earth guy and his bikes are really a work of art.

From a $200 beater Trek to an AXS 1×13 equipped bike is quite the upgrade, congrats!
That seat post appears to have a lot of setback – which seatpost is that?
Beautiful bike!
