If you’re studying in the city all day, here are some convenient spots that you should know that won’t break the bank. First up is the forum in the city center. Here you can not only fill up your water bottle for free, but there are also free public toilets, board game groups on the second and last Saturday of every month, and a whole range of books that you can take out from classics to Z. At the train station, there is also another free water bottle refill station. Looking for ways to get around the city? From the sports park, you can grab your free UVA bike, which you can borrow for up to two weeks through the free bike hire scheme. Head to the UEA Sport website to find out more. Barrel bikes are also offering a student discount of 25% up until July this year. Next up is Cinema City. Here you can grab 5.99 tickets if you’re under 25, or you can become a student member, which comes with a bunch of perks such as 25% off food, snacks, and drinks. Next up is Too Good to Go. From the co-op to the green grocerers, you can snag some great food from this app at a reduced price. After a long day in the city, be sure to hit up supper club on campus.
