as an American in the UK I’m traveling Scotland and now I’m in Glasgow complete different vibe than Edinburgh 100% like to me is night and day best way to put it Glasgow feels like I’m in the UK again and I know that sounds so wild to say and the accents are 10 times harder to understand imagine Shrek or imagine the most Scottish person you can think of that’s what they sound like and half the time I don’t understand what they’re saying but it sounds absolutely sick I could be wrong but it seems a little more hard knocked has a little more grit than Edinburgh the best part is there is graffiti all over the city it’s very artsy has a little bit of charm that I really love and just like any UK City there are pigeons everywhere there’s a statue called the Duke of Ellington and he’s chilling and every time he’s there there’s a cone on his head it started with students tradition the authorities would take it off then the students would once again put the cone on his head they have just accepted it and now the cone is part of the statue also I found a gift shop that sold realistic airsoft guns and the American and me had to get it didn’t know Scotland was packing like that bow so hian FC is playing right now which located in Edinburgh and apparently they’re facing Celtic they’re super super loud and they’re always chanting all in all Glasgow is a beautiful city when it comes to Vibes and appearance I got to give it to Edinburgh cuz it’s still better but Glasgow was still awesome

  1. It’s so American of you to say Ellington instead of Wellington. 😂 I’m sure people will forgive the slip because you are so respectful as you explore the UK. ❤

  2. You should come down and visit Cornwall, you’ll love it. It’s so beautiful here, and our waters are crystal clear jade green waters. Perfect for some surfing, or a swim on a warm day. 😂Us Cornish call Kernow our Eden on earth!

  3. Glasgow feels like your in the UK again? Was Glasgow apart of Romania or something?

(Just incase someone thought I was being serious, I was being sarcastic.)

  4. Glasgow is brilliant. Shame you didn't make it to Loch Lomond. Love your content dude, keep it going 🤘 The gun moment was cringe, but each to their own 😂

  5. US here: What a wonderful place to visit! I have to really listen carefully to the Scottish accents to understand, or try to figure out the context!
As for the gun, Kjordy just got that to feel more at home!

  6. In San Francisco we used to have that amount of pigeons. They are extremely damaging to wooden buildings (which most of ours are. Earthquakes). Then a pair of peregrines were brought downtown and they began to cull the pigeons!! Now in my neighborhood we have all sorts of raptors hunting the fat pigeons (leaving the little red headed parrots alone cause they’re too skinny and little. And smart). I am so happy not having to deal with pigeons in our building. Unfortunately the techbros Nextdoor don’t know how damaging pigeons are. My neighbor called the owner to tell him about the pigeons and they’d already made holes in the building to nest!

  7. Glasgow is a great city, as is Edinburgh, but Glasgow is a different vibe, yes the accent is very different and it does have a harder knock to it. It also has an amazing Art School, as in university, where you'd do your bachelors or masters. It's great to see so many murals reflecting the artistic talent there. I'm so pleased you're taking time to visit other parts of the UK. I hope you plan to visit some of the quieter or more rural places, just because those little villages are so beautiful and old. Even if you go to a city and take a trip to a nearby country village, we'll worth it, but it depends what you're looking for. If you've not already done them, you've got to do Newcastle and York, and I've never even been to York. Don't forget surfers' paradise, Cornwall has some great beaches, actually a lot of the UK beaches are worth visiting. I'm glad you're enjoying your experiences and taking time to leave London.

  8. Smh and rolling my eyes over the gun. You should look up the Glasgow smile on YouTube it is very interesting. Have you been to York in Yorkshire yet it's well worth a visit. Don't you have pigeons in American towns and cities. I thought those flying rats got everywhere 😂😅

  9. I live in Edinburgh but I’ve been to Glasgow many times by train for daytrips and I love it, I don’t find the accent hard to understand but maybe that’s cause I grew up in Scotland?
