I put together a Bikepacking route within the boundary of Wakefield’s Metropolitan District Council. It was an alternative to the Wakefield Way that mostly covers footpaths. It links section of the Trans Pennine Trail, Greenways, bridleways, byways and mostly quiet roads. I started in Pontefract but as it’s circular it can be started at any point. It could be done in a day.

  1. Thumbs up on that one Andy, I have done the route but not with a Bivi Bag. Some deprived areas along the trail and fly tipping, but the southern section was very enjoyable. Enjoy all your videos keep them coming. 👍

  2. I stumbled upon your channel last year and have been working my way through your videos and this one came as a pleasant surprise but can you tell me which navigation app did you use for this trip, there's a lot of this route I recognise and use but there's also a lot of this route I don't know but would like to know.
Thanks jn advance and keep up the good work 👍
