On Friday, July 4th, I climbed Mount Floya near Svolvaer. After an hour and a half of strenuous hiking, I finally arrived at Develsporten, a gap in the rock that is bridged by a horizontal boulder and which can be climbed from the side, giving the impression from the front that you are sitting high above an abyss (Picture 1). From above you also have a wonderful view of Svolvaer (Picture 2).
On the next day, I'm setting off for Henningsvaer. The route is beautiful: steep mountains, waterfalls, gorges, fjords (Picture 3). The town is picturesquely situated on several small bays with pretty, colorful wooden houses and a harbor full of small boats (Picture 4).
In the evening I arrived at Stamsund (Picture 5) on the way to Leknes, my next accommodation.
