  1. Inflate to almost max pressure (read on tire) and make sure it’s seated all the way around . Easiest if you are new to put it on bike and give a spin to see if it’s uneven. Then deflate and inflate to desired pressure. It’s what I did yesterday.

    Looks okay… What’s up with all those scratches by the rim, you using metal tire levers or something?

    Just make sure to pump every time, use a psi calculator (like Silva) to ensure proper inflation.

    I personally would have used a longer stem, make it a bit easier for the pump to seat onto. And Centre the logo of the tire to the stem. But that’s picking nits.

    Ps. These are not tubular tires, this are clincher. Tubular you glue on and as the name suggests, is just a tube you glue on outside of rim.
