They’re supposed to have a bit of play to allow the connector to turn as the suspensions move up and down. You’ll notice if its loose should hydraulic fluid leak from that connector and the pedal becoming spongy. .

Is it leaking and do the brakes feel like dog doo? So we work on scooties now too here? lol. I will warn you some of those scootie brakes are real trash and will leak like crazy
Zooms can be real hit or miss. I once had to replace a dudes whole hydraulic brake system his zoom brakes leaked like a sieve
and yup his leaked from the banjos and the motor cut off sensor

Banjo fittings seal with orings so it may not require that bolt to be completely tight, but you’re going to want to snug that up.
