In a previous post (https://www.reddit.com/r/bikewrench/s/Ewdlkl9wM0), I had shown how I had used a 1-inch pipe hanger clamp to attach a pizza rack to my bicycle since my fork does not a built in screw hole to attach the rack.

Multiple comments mentioned the screw used to attach the rack to the clamp may not be able to support the weight. The size of the screw used is #10-32 (length: 1-1/4 inch).

To address this issue and add more support, I have added a second “arm” that connects the pizza rack to the rack.

Just as before, I used spacers, a screw, pressure washer, nut, and a pipe hanger clamp. This time I used a second pipe hanger clamp that attaches to the rack.

  1. With that threaded section jutting out from the frame, it looks like a serious injury waiting to happen. Maybe you could cut it off or otherwise apply some mitigation.
