20 years ago..in my neck of the woods..excuse the pun…2 police Suzuki drz400s appeared mainly targeting serious criminals like a 14 year old on a scooter in the woods…shortly after withdrawn from service as an officer ran out of talent,fell off,went on the sick and sued employer for no off road boots,improper training etc,etc….I did find one these crew stuck under their drz one weekend and ended up stopping to assist them picking it back up…
