Hi reddit. I was listing some bikes on FB market place when I got hit up a lot on this bike which had me a bit suspicious. Another guy hit me up saying it might be worth 1500 as he used to restore them. I had it listed quite low and i had probably about 6 people hit me up in the last hour but im always suspicious on FB marketplace. Any insights?

No idea, looks like it was built by Shelby as it’s got the Shelby Shock Ease fork on it. Don’t listen to the random people that say it might be worth $XXXX, market value changes and tastes change, sure it may have been worth that much restored years ago, but the restored market is not what it once was and the cost to restore has gone up.
I don’t know what you listed it for, or where you’re located, but I’d estimate a couple hundred due to the condition, relative completeness and the fork.
