You’re looking at the A421 just southwest of Bedford. Right now it’s your standard busy dual carriageway, but soon this whole stretch is going to look very different. Why? Because this is where the main access for Universal Studios UK is going. They’re planning a brand new flyover and slip roads, all to help thousands of people get in and out of the future theme park and resort. It’s one of the biggest road upgrades the area has seen in years. If you’re driving this way, imagine this whole section changing with a new eastbound offslip into the universal site, plus a westbound offslip and a westbound onslip for leaving after your day at the park. Think fewer traffic jams and a much smoother journey in and out. And it’s not just talk. Right now, there’s loads of surveying happening up and down this exact stretch. If you spot workers with high viz jackets, tripods, or those little flags along the verges, that’s them mapping out every detail before construction begins. Survey teams are measuring the land, checking underground utilities, and making sure every curve and connection is right for the new flyover and slip roads.

I don't know why i've subscribed 😂
The single carriageway is the old A421, running alongside the current A421. And if this isn’t already a headache then J13 of the M1 will be.
All i need is a Thameslink or EMR from Bedford to Wixams
