I'm a West Virginia native who's been fortunate to ride a lot of great trails in my home state, NC, TN, MD, and KY. For years I've wanted to get out to Colorado and do some epic rides, but I always put it off. This year I finally made it happen and did a solo trip out West.

I spent a week in Crested Butte and ticked off 401, Dr. Park, and Teocalli Ride. The Aspens were peak color, the trails were in great shape, and the descents were as epic as the views. Didn't expect that many cows, but they were friendly enough!

On my drive out I stopped in Buena Vista and checked out Vitamin B, which was super gnarly. The double black sections were a bit out of my league, but there were plenty of single black features/slabs/rolls that were plenty challenging and more in my wheelhouse.

All-in-all, it was an awesome trip and I can't wait to get back out there again! If anyone has any other trail recommendations for my next trip, I'm completely open to suggestions
