I got these brand new a couple months ago, was just lubing my chain and saw this weird light bent on the chainring, any guesses what might have caused it?
I thought that Zen chainrings were supposed to be strong as fuck and last forever lol

Bolt missing, tightened not enough or improperly
does it lay flat on a surface? are the crank arms bent?
Odds are its your cranks.
I don’t want to add fuel to the “SG75 taper” fire but I could not for the fucking life of me get my Sugino 75’s to seat into any ISO square taper BB I had personally on hand (three). I would every single time without fault get a wobble similar to yours but less severe.
I had a Sugino 75 loose ball BB on hand and tried it for the heck of it, and needless to say my Steamroller still has a loose ball 75 BB. The chainring and cranks spin as straight as the eye can possibly tell. There’s zero visible naked to the eye wobble anywhere whatsoever now. All I did was change the BB..
And by the way, shout-out loose ball 75 BB’s. You don’t know smooth until you’ve ridden one that’s dialed. You also don’t know how bad *bad* can be until you’ve ridden one in the PNW winters!
