I own several other bikes, but thought the beautiful Extrema Italia would not be worth the hearty price tag. Turns out I might be wrong… it’s still a wild sum of money, but the monster gravel bike rode 5x more smooth and light than I had expected. Still I wouldn’t drop even close to 10k for a gravel bike that I would shred for dear life with. Gravel bikes need to handle scratches, rocks, crashes, and I don’t want to be overly careful with them.

  1. Wow. What is the contraption in the last picture that is attached to the valve and spoke?

  2. Longjumping-Drop-3 on

Was a big fan of 3T, but the market has seem to have moved past their company’s directions and dull storytelling.

A design that is too little too late, and obviously outpriced compared to its competitors.

Even with money, why would I spend it on a 3T over Pina, Colnago, or even a Moots? Just my honest opinion.

  3. & as a point of pedantry, my limited knowledge of Italian suggests that this should be called the Estremo ?
