Take that post and saddle off and knock it down to $200 and you got a deal.

That’s a solid deal, Klampers. Love levers. Dynamo, brooks b17. That’s almost the cost right there lol

The dynamo, sinewave lighting and paul brakes + levers are individually $300+ each. Yeah its a 90’s frame, but that functions to hold together some boutique parts that justify some of that asking price.

Mismatched wheels AND tires. And a suspension seatpost that I wouldn’t trust if my life depended on it. I wonder how much they spent on aliexpress.

Dude, why is it that we don’t understand? Custom means infinite value to you, zero to anyone else.

Is this in the Bay Area? There is a guy on here that’s a proud AliEx counterfeit PAUL buyer that *”would never”* sell counterfeit PAULS on his bikes.

I think it looks awesome. Retro disc on a 90’s univega? I’d be afraid to snap something off. Maybe for “touring” I want that bag. I want that bag on the Panasonic the dude posted the other day!

The water bottle is in one of the worst locations I have ever seen. Nothing like sucking on random road and trail dust and spray.

What is that seatpost?

This is why I never spend on drip. Selling a bike, even a well-crafted one like this, is almost inevitable.

Yea, normally I wouldn’t even entertain something this high, but I would buy this just for the parts alone and feel pretty ok about it.
My wife thought spending $3,500 on an e-cargo bike to haul the kids around was too expensive, so I bought a used ebike and an xtracycle kit… $4,500 later and I still need to upgrade/replace the 5 year old battery. That stuff adds up quick. To be fair, I probably would have swapped some stuff on the new ebike I bought because apparently I like to peacock, but it probably wouldn’t have been nearly as much.

Its basically worthless without a $300 front rack.

Feel like you should have included the parts list before the price can be judged, because like other posters have said, it’s expensive but maybe justified.
