What’s up, lords? Welcome back to another episode of Shady Ventures. This week on my round the world tour, I’ve crossed into Latia. Now, we’re going to the outdoor scout weekend up here. We got three days of just hanging out for some adventure bike mayhem. Here it is. This isn’t what I had in mind. The Outdoor Scout Weekend was inspired by scout camps, challenges, badges, prizes. Richard, the CEO of Adora, invited me along. Looked unreal. Your boys are doing a bloody potty. I’ll post the link and you will see it. Morning. Day two. It’s Saturday. I didn’t film anything yesterday. Was too busy having too much fun today. It’s bloody raining. It’s raining a lot. It’s rained all night. Should be interesting. The day kicked off with moto football in the wet. I stayed out of it, but it was entertaining watching the lads roost each other. Next up, a motocross challenge. Bit of mud never hurt anyone, right? It’s slippery as [ __ ] Slippery. 200 kilo Africa Twin. Time to beat 1 minute 20. Test lap, race lap. Let’s go. Heat. Heat. That was fun. 120. 120. That’s not bad. The goal is to beat 127. Oh, sweet. Now we’re going for an adventure rope. A bunch of Swedes. So, there’s a slight change of plans now. Instead of going for a ride, we’re going to change a freaking tube again. Did the MX challenge and I won a pop tire. Wicked. Wonder what caused that. Got the tube out. Now we managed to um rip the bloody valve out. And there’s a bit of a gash in the tire. So this is it here. It might be a little bit hard to see, but you can I can see daylight through it. There you go. Now you can see it. So I’m going to get stuck into this and I’ll show you the finished product. A crowd formed quickly to watch me struggle. Some lads jumped in to help. The moto community is unreal. So, after about half an hour or so, we got it in. Hopefully, it holds up for the rest of the trip cuz I don’t want to buy a new tire. Looks a lot worse now in the tire. So hopefully it survives. Maybe I have to find a new tire when I get to the city or something. I don’t know. So today is the final day of the Outdoor Scout weekend. Today I’m just taking it easy um for a nice casual ride around the streets with my Norwegian friend up front. I think I should go for a smooth ride and keep an eye on this tire. See if we need to replace it or not by the end of this ride. So, this was a old Soviet army town, which I’m guessing is what these buildings are all from. Go for a little um bit of an explore. Creepy how they just leave it to rot. The Soviet Empire was huge in its prime. Bloody busted headlight. I came around a corner. We’re rocking it. You get that on the big jobs. After checking out the old base, we headed to a lighthouse on the Baltic Sea. Something really cool is um this is the first time I’ve ever seen the Baltic Sea. You can just see on the horizon that is one of the Estonian islands which we will be going to next week sometime. Just a little bit of sightseeing today. Checking out the views, seeing what’s around. We’re going to make our way back to the scout camp now and um figure out what we’re going to do next. As the sun set, I sat by the fire and relaxed before hitting the road again, heading north towards a polar winter. Raina, absolute legend, offered kindly to let me stay in this cabin here. And now we’re going to hit the road again. We’re going to do the Adoro Scout weekend um tourist route that they had set. I didn’t do it yesterday because I was just very hung over. It was a big night Saturday night. It’s a good night, but beers in the sauna, they get you. They get you. Maybe we’re not going anywhere. What is that noise? I’m not sure what the go is. You know, temperamental old bikes again. Yeah, it’s this relay here. Next time on Shady Ventures, electrical gremlins, a tricky campsite, and some very noisy nocturnal locals. I can hear what sounds like maybe a wolf howling and dogs barking. This is a little bit creepy.
