The seller is asking 750, but will need to ship it within the state, which shouldn't be a huge amount. I'd add on 100 for shipping. Was going to offer 800 total.
I'm a 40 year old that grew up with 90's mountain bikes and BMX. I've tried the drop bar thing, it never feels right. I need something to commute to work (8 miles total) and hopefully recreational riding around town, trails, whatever I can find. I kinda like the idea of a single speed, less maintenance, and where I live is very flat. I'm still contemplating on that.

this is not a bike for commuting but would be a neat hardtail for mountain bike trails. Not sure how a bike like this (older, but top end components) is being sold for only 800 bucks.
Even if you are shipping it across the street, it’s gonna be more than $100
I think the bike is a good deal and is high quality steel
At $750 I feel like it’s over priced unless you are v just buying a passion project.
The rims don’t look carbon to me, and “EVEN” is either a typo or a knockoff – probably the second one, which is fine, but just means they’re not worth big money. Would be fine for a short commute and fun on trails. Closer to 550
I’d try to pick it up for 500-600 USD. The geometry is older, I’d guess 2007-8ish, steep head tube, slacker seat tube. Not great for trails but people certainly rode that for several years until modern geometry took over.
