The chicken establishment was only a 5 minute drive away, but it was on the other side of a massive interstate so it was a 10 mile trip along 6 lane local roads, with no bike lanes whatsoever.

Well, we have kroketten and frikandel speciaal. And that’s kind of the same thing, but different.
With my 5 weeks of mandatory vacation I get now I have the time to make my own fried chicken at home. Lol. As someone who lived in Virginia for a decade I definitely enjoyed the food but hated the car dominated society.
