  1. You need to get the right size bike for your size! The seatpost isn’t supposed to be so far out of the seatstay, you’re risking damaging your bicycle.

    You can replace it but it WILL bend like this again.

  2. Unfortunately I have to agree with the other comments, your frame is the wrong size for you. You should start looking into a new frame or even bike, you’ll also find bike commuting is more comfortable and more fun on a bike that fits your body

    Seat posts are made out to about 400mm with a minimum insertion depth marked to avoid this sort of thing. Thompson, ritchey, etc. they’re everywhere. If you need more than that for height then yeah your frame may be too small to make work. Not having the post in the frame far enough makes cracking/bending the frame tube likely.

    You clearly exceeded the design for your current seat post, but it’s hard to say if you need a bigger frame for sure from the angle of the photo. Best to measure.
